I am an educator with 10 years experience teaching, tutoring, and mentoring undergraduate & graduate students (master's & doctoral students) in a wide variety of social sciences and humanities, including: .. I love teaching, tutoring, and mentoring students for many different reasons. I wouldn't be an educator if I did not love what I do! I fully understand the values of tutoring to help students succeed in school and well beyond. Tutors play a key role in the learning and lives of students, and in enriching their experiences with the educational process. It brings me great joy and a sense of personal fulfillment and accomplishment to help students achieve their full potential in school and in life, to help develop their character, and to impact them in tangible, positive ways. As a tutor, I seek to forge a meaningful path and fulfilling relationships based on shared goals, to incorporate the student's interests, strengths, and creativity, to stay attuned to their self-image, and to disseminate vital knowledge that enriches their life experiences and enhances their awareness of the world. I tell them on a regular basis that I believe in them, that I will not give up on them, and that they can do whatever they set their minds to. My dedication to and love of education, my perseverance, patience, and positive outlook serves to motivate students to apply themselves, maintain a positive attitude, and never give up.
